Well Little League season is over. We had a problem with getting the field at Bruceton and were cheated out of our tournament games! They said that we couldn't have the field on our scheduled day and then we didn't have enough kids to play so we had to forfeit the tournament. We will see to it that it doesn't happen next year!
The last game was the highlight of Eljah's career! He got to catch for just a few pitches before they called the game for rain. Here are a couple of videos of him catching. He was to catch for the next game that we weren't able to have. You can see him doing what he loves!
This year's team worked very well together and had lots of fun!
We will lose 4 players because they were sixth graders and one or two because they will play in Oakland next year. That only leaves Elijah and one or two others. We hope we have enough for a team next year. Here is a team picture that we took for the yearbook.
Good Job Kids!
