I have always wanted to surprise Elijah with a birthday party but somehow he always found out. This time I managed it! We planned it at the Bowling Alley in Oakland and had several of his friends to come and they all kept the secret! I wish I could have gotten a picture of his face when he realized it was his party. He was completely shocked! Julia invited her friend Ben and they helped babysit Ingrid and Rowan. Here are some pictures of the party.
We ended the evening by singing "Happy Birthday to you...."
